Expect the unexpected at Best in Shows, a one-night-only cabaret featuring Broadway stars serenading cute dogs. The evening benefits and honors The Humane Society of New York, loving and protecting New York City’s animals since 1904.
Broadway’s Erika Henningsen (Mean Girls), Isaac Powell (Once On This Island), Jennifer Simard (Mean Girls), and Betsy Wolfe (Waitress) relive their terrible performances and last year’s belt winner Krysta Rodriguez (Spring Awakening) joins them for a special appearance in Let Me Try That Again: Take 6, a benefit for The Performing Arts Project at Feinstein’s/54 Below on October 21st. Broadway.com’s Susan Blackwell ([title of show]) hosts this evening during which fabulous performers share their most embarrassing moments onstage and then redeem themselves by recreating that moment live. At the end of the evening, the audience will vote on the star performer who most redeemed themselves through their efforts that night.
