The three-time Tony award winning composer, conductor and pianist comes to London for one night only, with the 60-piece BBC Concert Orchestra. With special guests from Broadway and the West End, Rachel Tucker, Betsy Wolfe, and Norm Lewis and the sixty piece BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Broadway maestro Larry Blank, this will be a chance to catch up with one of the giants of contemporary musical theatre.
Broadway’s best will smash gender norms and celebrate love in all its forms at this year’s Broadway Backwards, the annual evening of gender-reversed performances of beloved showtunes.
This star-studded evening features Broadway’s brightest talents, with a twist: men sing songs originally intended for women, and vice versa. Artists will honor the great songs of musical theatre while challenging the boundaries and limitations of gender and sexuality in this evening when love comes before all else.
